Organizations that signed teams after the first DPC season announcement
The past 2020 has been extremely challenging for Esports. Valve didn't disclose their plans regarding the competitive scene for a long time, which is why some organizations abandoned at least one Dota 2 roster. Some completely closed this department. But with 2021, the situation changed due to the announcement of the DPC for the 2021 season.
Regional Leagues are in full swing, and in 2 months, the first Major will take place. And there appeared many promising mixes, as well as organizations that decided to sign them.
High Coast Esports has signed Chicken Fighters
The Chicken Fighters mix of former NIP and 5men players was assembled on January 3 specifically for the qualifiers for the first season of the DPC leagues. Within 2 weeks, the team found an organization: it was the Swedish company High Coast Esports. For the Swedes, this is the first acquaintance with the Dota 2 discipline. Still, they have experience in managing several CS:GO teams at once.
Naturally, this decision was caused by the Chicken Fighters' good performance in the closed qualifiers and earned a ticket to the DPC: Europe Upper Division. But not everything is as good as it should be. At the moment, the team has 4 defeats and is ranked last in the league. Now it is the main contender for elimination.
High Coast Esports roster:
- ??Charlie “CharlieDota” Arat
- ??Ondřej “Supream^” Štarha
- ??Rasmus “Chessie” Blomdin
- ??Adrian “Era” Kryeziu

Tundra Esports has signed mudgolems
Another European mix, mudgolems, also made it to the Upper Division of the Regional League first season and could find an organization: the Russian-British Tundra Esports, which previously worked only with the Fifa and Fortnite disciplines.
The mudgolems mix had existed since September 2020 and has earned over $60,000 in prize money. Before the closed qualifiers, they were waiting for a reshuffle: instead of MiLAN and BoraNija, Biver and Nine came. At the qualifications themselves, they easily got a slot in the Upper Division.
Tundra Esports roster:

- ??Leon “Nine” Kirilin
- ??Neta “33” Shapira
- ??Malthe “Biver” Winther

Team Unique has signed NoPangolier
In November 2020, the Russian organization Team Unique disbanded the Dota 2 roster and took a break before the start of the DPC season. Team Unique's original plan was to build a roster of little-known players, but it failed to make its way to any of the DPC: CIS divisions. Therefore, it decided to sign the NoPangolier mix, who won a ticket to the Upper one.
There, the team performs extremely weakly and takes the last place, having 3 defeats.
Team Unique roster:
- ??Nikita “Palantimos” Grinkevich
- ??Yaroslav “Pikachu” Vasylenko
- ??Andrii “Ghostik” Kadyk
- ??Danil “Bignum” Shekhovtsov
- ??Semion “CemaTheSlayer” Krivulya
Team Spirit didn't make this list because they signed the Yellow Submarine stack back in December 2020. VP.Prodigy was also not included because its management said that Team Generation was created by the organization.
