PV and Spirit may not receive an invite to The International because of poor performance at PGL Wallachia S8, results of the third day of playoffs
The third day of the playoffs of PGL Wallachia Season 8 ended with BetBoom Team left waiting for their opponent in the grand final, continuing to perform flawlessly, while Team Liquid, South America Rejects and PARIVISION left the tournament. There is still hope for a CIS grand final, but for that to happen Aurora must defeat Team Falcons in the lower-bracket final:

BetBoom Team are still undefeated throughout the entire tournament. The returning coach boolk is showing excellent drafts, and the former Team Spirit psychologist, judging by everything, has solved the mental problems that had been preventing the team from winning before this tournament. Even though the first map lasted 80 minutes and set a new record at the event, and the second one went into the Aurora piggy bank, on the third map they managed to out-tempo their opponents thanks to Huskar from gpk~.
South America Rejects already went quite far, so being knocked out by Team Liquid was predictable. 5th–6th place and a potential signing by an organization will give the stack a decent start, but for now, even despite Liquid playing with a stand‑in, it is too early for them to compete with such a team.
PARIVISION were unable to stay in the tournament for at least one more day. It is obvious that there are unresolved issues within the team. SSS on Doom was behind Alchemist in farm in the late game, No[o]ne- did not shine in any of the games, and the Lone Druid strategy for Satanic did not work out either. At this pace, the results of PARIVISION, just like those of Team Spirit, may not be enough for a direct invite to The International 2026, and only the upcoming DreamLeague 29 can change everything. But will teams in such a slump be able to show a worthy result there?
Team Falcons showed confident Dota, despite the fact that ATF had been predicting defeat for himself for the second day in a row. He even blamed two teammates for feeding, yet still called the games easy.
PGL Wallachia Season 8 is taking place April 18–26 in Bucharest, Romania. The tournament prize pool is 1 million dollars.
