The BetBoom Team Defeat Ex-Teammate Pure At ESL One Birmingham 2024
The Eastern European squad continued to display dominance, proving to be better than Tundra Esports. They have sent their former teammate and Tundra Esports to the Lower Bracket to play against the winner of Team Falcons vs. OG.
Game 1 of the Best-of-3 was very passive, and Tundra Esports could muster up an 11,000 net worth lead. However, Pure and Topson were on a timer as Tundra Esports did not have the draft to deal with Nightfall's Phantom Lancer, which eventually took over the game. The BetBoom Team pulled off a comeback to win the first map.
The second map turned out to be a massive stomp in favor of the BetBoom Team. The laning stage went horribly wrong for Tundra, resulting in a quick 37-minute win for MieRo`’s Kunkka, who played flawlessly with a ending score of 10/0/17.
