PGL to manage Regional Qualifiers, Last Chance, and The International 11 Group Stage
Tournament organizer PGL has announced that it will host Regional Qualifiers, Last Chance, and The International 11 Group Stage. This was made on the official website.
Regional Qualifiers take place online on September 3-17. The winner of each region receives a direct invitation to The International 11, and 2 more teams advance to the Last Chance tournament.
Regional qualifiers schedule:
- EEU – September 3-7.
- South America – September 3-7.
- North America – September 8-12.
- China – September 8-12.
- Europe – September 13-17.
- Southeast Asia – September 13-17.
The Last Chance for TI is scheduled for October 8-12 in Singapore. It features 12 teams from 6 regions competing for the last 2 places in the group stage. The format is currently unknown.
The group stage is scheduled for October 15-18 at Suntec Singapore and features 20 teams. During the stage, all of them are divided into 2 groups. After that, 4 teams leave the tournament, and 16 teams advance to the playoffs.
